Operation: Vegan – Day 14 & 15

So I’ve made it to the half way point of my little experiment. I don’t understand why some people have a hard time becoming vegan, it really wasn’t too bad at all. The first week I craved dairy (mainly cheese), but that was about it. To the people that say that you need to “ease into it slowly,” I say “quit being vaginas and just do it.” I also see a lot of people claiming they can’t do it because it costs a lot of money. Honestly, if you want to mix up your meals a lot, it does cost a shit-ton of money… but why do you think you see me eating a lot of the same thing? I’m a creature of habit, so maybe it bothers me a lot less than it would other people.

I’ve had quite a few comments about my weight loss in the past couple weeks, and to answer the main question, the weight loss is from diet alone. I didn’t want to work out after going vegan because I was interested in seeing how much my usual diet actually effected my weight. Although the weight loss has significantly slowed down in the past few days (possibly a direct correlation to when I discovered how delicious chocolate almond milk is), I’ve pretty much come to the conclusion that I’ve shred about 8-10lbs in 2 weeks, just from changing my diet from that of a fat-asshole, to that of a vegan. Not too bad, right?? Now I’m trying to decide if I want to get back into the gym, or continue being a bum for the next couple weeks. I’d put my money on being a bum, but we’ll see.

On to the meals I had the past couple of days. After looking everywhere for a vegan curry, and not being able to find one, I decided to look up a recipe online and made my own. I figured it would taste pretty good with my usual rice and veggies, and as always, I was right. I didn’t even make a mess, or catch anything on fire this time! On day 15, I was lucky enough to have some delicious vegan chili hand delivered to my place, thanks Christine! I wish people would make me dinner every night, that would make my life a whole lot easier! Anywho, here are the pics. Enjoy!

  1. Hurray you made it to the half way point! lol I’m really glad you make so much of your own food. Be proud, most men are too lazy and then whine about being hungry lol.
