Since I’m forcing myself to do this whole vegan thing right, I finally decided to take an adventure to Whole Foods. Upon entering the store, I immediately regretted my choice. I have never seen so many snobby, yuppie, assholes in my entire life. If you haven’t been there before, stay away, FAR away… I can’t even begin to describe the quality of asshole you find in that place. If you’re looking at a product, you don’t have to wait 5 seconds before someone will come and stand in front of you. People will block the lanes so you can’t get past, and pretend you’re not even there… oh man, I could go on, but I’m already getting worked up just thinking about it. I swear, if my girlfriend wasn’t with me, I would have blown up like the I did at Safeway a few months ago, when I was kicked out for throwing a 6-pack of Beef Top Ramen at someone’s head, and chasing them around the store. Fortunately for them, she “doesn’t like it when I confront people for being assholes,” and “get’s embarrassed when I cuss people out.” Pfft, whatev!
Ok, need to calm down. SO… the ONLY bright side of going to Whole Foods is that they have a really good selection of products that you just can’t find in your typical Safeway. As you can probably see from the picture, I got a shit-ton of meatless meat, whatever the fuck that is. It looked good though, so I figured I would give it a shot. As you can probably already tell from my previous posts, I’m definitely the mysterious, adventurist, edgy, sexy, fit, stylish, poetic, romantic, charming type… so why wouldn’t I try it?? Another thing that really sucks about Whole Foods, EVERYTHING is really high priced. I paid $65 for everything, which will feed me maybe a week, if I’m lucky. Back in my ghetto-fab days, I could feed myself for an entire month with that amount of money! Shit, I could probably eat at Taco Bell for every meal, of every day, for an entire month for that kind of money. God, I really hate Whole Foods. Now I’m pissed again.
So, now that you have pissed me off by making me talk about Whole Foods, I don’t even want to write anymore. As you know well by now, I hate to complain about anything, so I’m just going to drop this for now, even though I’m sure you’ll provoke me again later. As for my meals the past couple of days… on day 20 I made my usual veggie & rice dish with the new teriyaki sauce I mentioned in the previous post. Holy crap, SO good! I swear, pick up some Soy Vey Veri Veri Teriyaki… you will worship me more than you already do, if you try it. On day 21 I made some Vegetable Lentil & Roasted Red Pepper soup, which was very tasty indeed. God I hate annoying people… here are pics, stats, blah, enjoy.
